Bên cạnh đó, ta cho thêm muối vào để làm tăng khả năng tăng màu và giảm độ stress của cá, muối sẽ làm sạch ruột cá và tạo một lớp mỏng trên bề mặt vây làm gia tăng khả năng chống lại cá bệnh kí sinh trùng. Nhưng lưu ý, chỉ nên sử dụng với dung lượng 100g cho 100l nước là phù hợp.
